About Us

Sampson's has been a family-owned Winnipeg based business since 1964. 

Starting back in '64 Jim Sampson began the Sampson's Enterprise focusing on sporting goods. When it was time to pass the business on he didn't have to look far, as Glenn and Louise Sampson took over the family-run legacy. Glenn and Louise stayed busy as throughout their years they incorporated new business adventures including Rainbow ski travel and tours, and Rainbow Ski School. As the years went by times changed and by the late 90's early 2000's the travel industry and ski school died down, leaving the sporting goods as the main spotlight.  In 2004 Dean Sampson was thrilled to be able to carry on the family-run business and become the third generation to run Sampson's Skis & Bikes. 

With over 50 years being in one place as one business, we at Sampson's are proud to be a staple in the community.
